If you’re looking to make the most of your haul planning, this is the training you’re after. Spry Haulage training is training is run every four weeks out of our office in Fortitude Valley.

Module #1: Haulage Theory
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the concepts of Rolling Resistance and Effective Grade
  • Understand Rimpull/Retard curves and how they are applied in Spry
  • Understand TKPH and the effect on Adjusted results
  • Set up their haul environment in Spry
  • Change default assumptions and understand the effect on results

Module #2: Simple Logic
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Create a Haulage Rule
  • Understand how Haulage Rules interact with the Output Schedule
  • Understand the different types of Points available including Centroids
  • Create Points while interacting with the animation
  • Use Points to create digisted Haul Profiles and generate simulation results
  • Understand the benefits and drawbacks of using Points in Haulage

Module #3: Road Networks
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the concept of a Road Network
  • Draw, edit and troubleshoot Road Network Shapes
  • Create Attach and Detach Rule types
  • Manipulate Attach and Detach spheres
  • Understand the benefits and drawbacks of using Road Networks in Haulage

Module #4: Complex Logic
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the concept of what Vectors are
  • Create simple Vectors that create dynamic ramps
  • Understand the range of Vector tools available including Intersections and Limits
  • Use remaining training time to either reinforce earlier concepts or develop Grouping and Vector skills
